My husband is a pastor of a new church plant. For Pastor Appreciation month, the church sent us to a nice resort in town for the weekend. This alone was a wonderful gift. When we arrived back home, we were shocked to find a house full of people waiting to surprise us with a backyard make over. Little did we know that while we were away, a crew of several men and woman from the church landscaped our entire backyard. Up until that point, all we had was dirt leaving it very difficult for our kiddos to play. Now they enjoy rolling around in the grass, swimming in an above ground pool, and riding their vehicles on the extended patio. What an incredible blessing.
